     I'll take the easy one.   There are 256 bytes per sector on the HP3K.

can anyone provide a comparison of cpu overhead impacts on allbase vs. turboimag
e?

does anybody know the formula to convert sectors to bytes on hp3k?

Does anybody know the formula to convert block to bytes on hp9k?
