My 0.5 cents worth --
 
One thing to note is that once you are using NM KSAMXL you can no  longer
use KSAMUTIL on these NM KSAMXL files.
 
KSAMUTIL only works on the CM KSAM file structure.
 
Also, if you want to use KSAM on the NM HP3000 you should use NM KSMAXL 
and not the old CM KSAM due to the performance issues of switching back and  
forth 
between CM and NM. Discovered that issue the hard way....
