Attachments is a subject I have often thought to address to this group. When I
first started receiving
these messages I used my office internet access, which I have Eduroa
(spelling?) as the e-mail reader,
I soon found that I didn't like dealing with the large number of messages at
one time, so I switched to
receiving them at the contract I am on. Which was HPDESK, am now using Lotus
Notes.

None of these seem to like attachments very well. This morning there were two
e-mails with attachments,
(SIGSYSMAN and Re Curious Error). I couldn't read either of them. And I guess
I question whether
it is a good idea to open up attachments from strangers anyway.

Also the Area Code overlay message didn't seem to have any attachment (in Lotus
Notes).

I noticed the message said that it was in "Acrobat" format. Other messages I
have received said they
were in "Mime". Is this a circus or what? None of the three mail systems I
have been on seem to
understand Mime. What is it and why use it if others can't read it?

Don't take this as an intense flame, just a mild rebuke. Rember the KISS rule
when sending messages.
