Since the HP3000-L is so Unix-phobic, I'm thinking of starting a separate
mailing list dedicated to discussing using HP3000s and Unix together
without the off-topic HP3000 advocacy/flames prevalent on this list
whenever the "U" word is mentioned.

Sample topics could be:

o Using Unix tools to diagnose HP3000 problems
o Using Unix to connect your HP3000 to the net (and protect your HP3000 from
  the net :-)
o Client/Server programming issues

Needless to say, only those who see Unix as a tool need subscribe to this
new list. It's not the place for HP3000 advocacy or sales pitches -- HP3000-L
already exists for that :-)
