Correct. I tried restoring MIRVUTIL or @[log in to unmask]@;keep;olddate. This was
weird, it said it would restore 2 files. Of course it only restored 1 since
I had keep option. However, I couldn't run VOLUTIL without getting an
error.

As I understand When you entered the command :VOLUTIL

you did not get

Mirvutil A.01.00, (C) Hewlett-Packard Co., 1991. All Rights Reserved.

Chuck Trites asks...

Does anyone know if the Mirror Disk/iX software must be loaded from the
Factory Load Tape during an INSTALL or you can get it as an UPDATE? Or,
should it be on the PROD/Subsys tape?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

If your system had Mirror/iX installed originally, then the product
Mirror/iX will be on the factory pre-load tape. Otherwise it would be
included on a PROD/Subsys tape. It would not be on an UPDATE.

How did you lose it?
