Ron,

LeeTech sells a product called 'DBAdvisor/SQL' that
performs many of the same types of functions that Adager
or DBGeneral perform for Image databases. It is a client/
server set of programs that allow you to manage things via
the Windows GUI, but the actual work takes place directly
on the server. Many of the standard utilities are also
accessible through the same interface which makes them a
little more convenient to use.

Bradmark also acquired Flexibase/SQL about a year ago
which operates very similarly. I've not kept up on it's
feature set though.

Regards,
Michael L Gueterman

Subject: [HP3000-L] Optimizing Allbase

We are using an Allbase database in our manufacturing system and I was
wondering what kinds of things can I do to help clean up the database. In
Image, you can use adager to repack a dataset. I'm not sure what I can do
on the Allbase side.
Please help!!!!

Thanks!
