The truth had nothing to do with it, they were burned because they
wouldn't conform; and if you think things have changed all that
much since then you are sadly misled. All that has changed are
the forms of punishment and the types of behaviour considered
deviant.
Political Correctness is just another way of saying orthodoxy and
those that aren't PC are this age's heretics.
