Item #11 on the SigImage ballot says:

   "Support SQL SAVEPOINT in Image/SQL: (M).

   "SQL has the concept of being able to mark a point
    in the current transaction which can then be rolled
    back to, using the SQL rollback work statement."

Is this roughly analogous to requesting "sub-transactions" within
a larger DBXBEGIN / DBXEND transaction? (I mean, except that the
"end" of a sub-txn is indicated by the beginning of the next
sub-txn, and no work is committed until DBXEND. I said "roughly." ;)
