I would suggest you use ODBC to extract the data and do the reformatting
within a pc client. Very fasat and much easier coding in the 'modern' world.
Sounds like a new world system with serious constraints.

My Powerhouse is a bit rusty but do any of the gurus out there have some
QUIZ/QTP coding to remove blanks within a field. We are migrating to a new
system which does not allow blanks in key fields (ie a value of ABC
123 has to become ABC123)
