All of these email virus "warnings" are quite simple to ignore as long as
you use a mail reader that doesn't automatically execute code in an
attachment.  I recommend testing your email client with a message that
*only* contains an executable attachment and no text part whatsoever.
I've seen a few that will "open" an attachment if it is the only thing
there.

I believe most of these email virus warnings are bogus, but there has
been some discussion on RISKS lately about email messages with embedded
HTML, specifically APPLET tags with WIDTH=2 HEIGHT=2 which in some
email clients (guess which ones) will actually load a Java (or possibly
ActiveX) program and start it running in a window that's too small to
notice.
