Its defined as the Right to Use Software updates. In HP3000 terms its
your right to use the OS upgrades that come out (Express Rls, 5.5 etc).
Its charged on a per-system basis. You also pay an additional charge
on each system for which you want customized media and paper manuals.
If your systems are similar in their software products, you only
need pay for that part once, though you still pay the "Right to Use"
charge.
 
The "License" document mentioned above (LaserRom) is a different
scenario. Its roughly the equivalent of a Micrososft "certificate
of authenticity" and technically just proves that you bought it.
We dont charge for upgrades on LaserRom, nor do we charge for
delivering it because we deliver a fresh copy on each CDROM set
you get.
 
Dont try to equate LaserRom software with HP3000 software. Its
two totally different types of products and really apples and
oranges.
