I don't think I've been solicited directly from IBM as of yet but I've
been hit by...

1. Local vendor doing some contract work for me
2. A vendor currently working in the 3000 space
3. Food & Beverage industry solution provider
4. Manufacturing & Distribution solution provider
5. A second Food & Beverage solution

I think there have been a couple others but that's all I can think of
off the top of my head. None of these companies are going to have a
complete solution for us, we are kind of weird three headed company. But
they are real live solutions that I can work with today. The only
package we are still using on the 3000 is part of the Exegsys set of
applications. They have plans to move the product, but it's not done.
The rest is about 400,000 lines of home grown code. For that I have
everybody and their brother trying to sell me migration/emulation tools
and services. For us I think there are advantages to looking at new
"packaged" solutions and to piecemeal reengineering our code. There
where several decisions made 20+ years ago, while good at the time, are
holding us back now. Like I said before none of these are total solution
for us, but we should able to cover the core applications.
