arg!

on MPE I get the following:

bash-2.04$ cvs -d \
> :pserver:[log in to unmask]:/openmpe/CVSROOT login
(Logging in to [log in to unmask])
CVS password:
Unknown host jazz.external.hp.com.
bash-2.04$

and on linux:

pete@storm:~/contrib$ cvs -d
:pserver:[log in to unmask]:/openmpe/CVSROOT login
Logging in to :pserver:[log in to unmask]:2401/openmpe/CVSROOT
CVS password:
cvs login: failed to open /home/pete/.cvspass for reading: No such file or
directory
cvs [login aborted]: fatal error: exiting

Fun. Now what? I'm thinking of just scraping the stuff off of the web
interface.
