Along the same lines here - currently, the duplicates are limited to
comp.sys.hp.mpe because as of right now, the feed from Usenet to the list is
not functioning.

To those who use Usenet: I would be interested in your experience in
receiving messages from the list. Our Usenet feed is updated every 15
minutes, however, the proliferation to other newsgroups would take
additional time, depending on the number of hops it needs to make.

Example: Last night, I sent a message, which made it to Jeff Kell's local
provider within minutes (American took 6 hours) - however, the traffic was
virtually nil last night.

So please post your timings -- does the gateway perform better?

As for the reverse feed - this is being worked on and hopefully, will be
live in the next day or so. (I thought I had it --- apparently not :( -
and once this reverse feed is up, you will start seeing duplicates in the
list. Again, this will be only for a couple of days at the most. If all
works well, Jeff will pull the plug on the other gateway, and the duplicates
will cease.

Thanks for your help and understanding.

Best Regards,
Joe
