Perhaps my original post wasn't really clear.

What do I need to do routable DTCs?

I currently have PC DTC Manager and DTC/48s on a local
ethernet segment with our HP3000s and HP9000s. I understand
that HP's routers can allow bridging in a way to have the
DTC/16 we also have to communicate to the HP3000, HP9000, and
the PC DTC Manger, but what I would really like is routable
DTCs so that I can use non HP routers (not my choice, but
something forced upon me by the willingness of some companies
to donate networking equipment).

I'm currently planning on adding a Unix OpenView workstation
to manage our growing HPUX machines (admin center, etc.), so I
could run the Unix DTC -- but I thought that this would
eliminate the need for the PC DTC manager. One post (Ken
I think) said that I needed both PC and Unix DTC manager.

Is it just the DTC16RX that requires the Unix DTC manager?

Is the DTC16RX necssary to do routable DTC management or
communcations to the HP3000 or HP9000?
