It is possible to dial into a network connection and use VT to access your
HP. I do it everyday.
We have an NT server running RAS ( a part of NT). Establish your connection
and connect to the HP as you would in your local office.
I'm not in the office today (recuperating from the excitment of last week!),
but if I remember correctly, we have a bank of US Robotics modems (this
could be done with just one connected to the serial port) and configured for
dial in RAS access. Give your user rights to use RAS (can't remember. my
turn for brain fade) and you should be good to go.
Hope this helps.
