Hi Curtis,

we have PerfView for NT in place. A call at our CRC is still open because
it doesn't allow to drill down to processes. On the other hand, the big
DISadvantage is that you have to extract the LOGGLOB file and to transfer
this extract to your NT workstation (beside the fact that you need NT you
need quite a lot of discspace for the extracted files ... O.K., Lars, I
didn't test how Samba/iX will work for opening an extract file on the host
..). The extraction and download requires CPU time, and bandwidth.
Basically: PerfView works but ...

LaserRX ist still working under MPE/iX 5.5(4)! Although obsolete, you may
continue to use it!

If you have more questions just let me know.

Best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany

Subject: Perfview NT? Free Upgrade from LaserRx?

Awhile back I received a from letter from HP indicating that, since they
were dropping LaserRx in favor of Perfview [grrrr], and we're on support
for LaserRx, that we would be eligible for a FREE copy of Perfview/NT.
Okay, was I just spending too much time that day attempting to get
Perfview/UX to do something useful [like work] and in my delirium misread
the letter?
Did anyone else get this, and if so, who/where do I contact/go to to talk
to someone about this?
Please?

Thanks!
Curtis
