Thank you very much for the hint. I will eventually get around to
doing something of this nature. But I am still irked that such
gymnastics are even necessary. The only beneficial things that
have come out of this experiment is that I have discovered that
using the storeset=(*bkref) creates all of the store files in the
HFS which simplifies the transfer scripts on and off the HP3000;
and that a file equate to the MPEiX filename used in the STORE
*bkref when passed to RESTORE retrieves the files from the HFS
namespace transparently to the user.
So, even if it is not the best of all possible worlds, neither is
it the worst (which is the STORE default of mixed namespace names
for multiple file STD sets).
