Yes,  do like I did and call HP and ask for a patch tape with overnight
delivery.

The RC engineer said that some people are doing just fine with the new
'patch from the web' process and others are having problems.  Most of the
problems are due to the binary/ascii thing, but others are not.  Until they
get it ironed out better, I'm sticking with the Tapes. (I know, I know.  How
are they going to get it ironed out if nobody uses it....well, go for it!  I
tried and got burned, others are doing just fine.)
