I am looking for some help to solve a problem we are experiencing with the
ADDINVALLOC transaction of HP Purchasing (HPPO). If there are any users on
this list with experience on this transaction, I'd appreciate their
assistance .

Following are the details:

The transaction uses a 3 section split screen for 3-way matching of
Invoice-Purchase Order-Receipt. On the first section, a Vendor and Invoice
is entered. The second section presents further selection criteria for
different combinations of PO#, PO-LINE#, and Expected Deliveries among other
fields. After the first two sections are filled, the third section displays
the different deliveries so the user can pick up which one matches that
particular invoice and acknowledege the match. With some orders, the
displayed data on the third section does not show the PO #, does not display
all ocurrences, and aborts if further processing is attempted.

We've analyzed the internals of the transaction thoroughly, including the
multiple datasets it uses. We have gone step by step, watching from another
session each dataset while the transaction is in progress and found the
following. The transaction uses a temporary file to deposit the result of
the combined searches before displaying on the third section of the screen.
This dataset is filled with all the information, meaning all records
supposed to be displayed. Somehow, only one record gets displayed, and this
one with the PO# missing. We've searched for corrupt data in all the records
but they are ok.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem within HPPO?

TIA,
