Subject: [HP3000-L] HP e3000 Support
Greetings!
We have an HP e3000/A400-100-11 machine that, about a year ago, would not stay up any longer than about an hour before it autobooted, putting it back to the Guardian Service Processor (GSP) prompt. (The machine ran MPE/iX C.70.04.) This machine was simply used for archived data lookup from an old ERP system.
After trying simple fixes (e.g., reseating memory, checking connections, etc.), we still had the same problem.
Since we had no support agreement, and no one wanted to pay for a 3rd-party support company to perform a diagnosis and fix, we powered the system off.
Well, of late there is interest in resurrecting this machine, and someone may be willing to foot the bill.
Web searches have yielded a few companies, but as I have absolutely no knowledge about or experience with any of them (or any other support companies), I am asking you folks for recommendations:
