Another HP3000 only method would be to change the primary path to the path
of this disc, and use an SLT to INSTALL
over top of the existing label. As a precaution I would power off or
disconnect all of the other discs.

A side note, on mission critical systems it is desireable to have an
alternate bootable disc on some other path from ldev 1.
This eliminates the delays and problems in booting the diagnostics from tape
in the event that ldev 1 is not online.
