No problem with 100baseT on a 997-500 or a 979-200. Been running on the 997
for at least 6 months. I used AUTOINST for the SUBSYS tape and AUTOPAT for
all patches. I've have not yet attempted using PATCH/IX. All tapes and
patches were received on DDS.

The only problem with 100baseT has been that every so often it blows up the
Cisco 7505 router. Cisco is working on it after swapping just about
everything in the router including the backplane.

Well, it seems I'm not the only one with this problem. I
heard from
another lister that he's having similar difficulty starting
his network
with the 100Base-T card installed. We both have 997's.

Anyone out there with a 997 and a 100Base-T card working
correctly?
                We're on 5.5 PP4.

                Thanks again...
                Patrick
