Jeff,  it doesn't go far enough.   Much of the spam I get now wants to
reply or write a e-mail box that is only live for a couple of days ( the
accounts get cancelled.)  But during that time they are able to pickup
hundreds of idots that respond.  The law should require that ISP
post/publish e-mail account names AND the contact information that have
been used to register the account.  That way, those of us that get a
judgment against them can track them down and get our money.  Publishing
the name would remove the anonymity that the spammers want.
