Which brings up another interesting aspect... There is more than one way
to contribute to open source projects! If you are not a C programmer, you
can still join the club and help creating or improving installation tools
or platform specific documentation or tips or examples... In those cases
it can even be an advantage to not be a C hacker or Posix guru, because it
helps to look at things from the "MPE-nik" viewpoint and make things more
convenient or comprehensible for a traditional MPE user...
