Per yesterday, I compiled all the advice and forwarded it to my boss's
boss. Who just happened to be at the site with a Fluke device. He took
the advice to turn ICMP redirects off to heart.
Below is a quote from his response. (The beginning reference is in
regards to off the ICMP redirects.)
"Best I can tell they are turned off. However, they had many people
that would run on both wired and wireless and have 2 IP's to the
network. My guess is that would confuse Manman (and other apps).
Also, they had many users with IPv6, which we don't use but creates lots
of noise. So we disabled all that."
