Well, Carol, then I stongly believe they may need paragraph 2.

I am deathly afraid of only two countries in the world today: Iraq and North Korea. Why, because neither leader would have second thoughs on the use of nuclear devices on the world. If they don't care about their own people, what makes any rational person think they would care about the world's people or the results of their actions.

Carol Darnell replied (I think it was directed at me at least)

Joe, to be honest I've really HEARD that option suggested! Not among us,
perchance, but among some people with whom I work - people who still choose
to assault anyone within earshot with tales of Nam, napalm, defoliants, and
assorted other niceties. I would hate to confront the reality that there
are people making decisions about how to proceed in this current context
who are still unresolved and dissatisfied over the resolution (or not) of
past conflicts.

I don't recall seeing anyone advocate the use of nuclear devices on any
target as an active alternative, except in the event of other massive
devices strikes by Iraq.

I really dont think anyone wants to use nuclear devices except for the
guys/gals who are either in the white jackets with the arms that tie in the
back or the ones who need those jackets.

My opinion and it has value.
