As experienced MPE users I would like to ask you these basic questions:
1. Of what type can be Job file?
   I know about: bytestream file (which is 'pure' ascii e.g. made through
                                  posix vi)
                 fixed record length (numbered or unnmbered).
                 variable record lenght (numbered or unnmbered).

   What else?

   Can I create all these types with EDITOR ?

2. Is there a way (programatically or CI) to know if a text file is numbered
   or not?
