So if it is illegal to use FedEx to send something that doesn't really need to be shipped overnight:

1- Why do FedEx, Airborne, UPS and others have 2, 3 and 5 day service?
2- Why does the USPS advertise their services comparing rates with FedEx and UPS 2 day service with their 2-3 day service?
3- Why doesn't the USPS go after all FAX machines?
4- Why doesn't the USPS clearly state that it is illegal?

I don't want to say I don't believe you, but I really don't believe you.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .

Wirt, you may want to check on the USPS case which
I mentioned at the start of this entire fracas.
Like I said it has been 8 years (+ or -) but
litigation was brought against the companies (iirc,
the customers themselves, not Fedex...I think one
of them was Xerox) for using an auxillary service
when overnight delivery was not required. You may
actually be in violation of the law for using an
auxillary carrier rather than the USPS when the
USPS would do just as well for the services
required. (Don't worry, I won't report you...for
a fee... (; )
