Hi,
I have a DeskJet 693C that has never given me a bit of trouble. A
week ago it started printing the top (and sometimes just the bottom)
of a line of text.
If I change the text into any color it prints fine.
It is not the cartrideg....I have tried 3 and they all do it. ALSO,
If I add a .gif or .jif into the same Word file, the text AND the
picture print just fine.
I have the current driver (according to the HP website.)
I use Windows ME.
When I try to Align the printer (using the toolbox) the first set of
lines are "miles" apart and I can't adjust them.
Can you please help? I think it is something to do with the driver,
but don't know how to fix it. (but then again, I might just need a
magic wand)
Thanks,
Debi in Savannah
