For the "what goes around comes around" file:

In an interview in Monday's Computerworld, Larry Ellison says that
Oracle will eliminate the client/server versions of their applications
software in the next release.  Apparently they have discovered that the
advantages of having the software and data together on a central server
system are so great that they don't think any of their customers will
want the client/server versions anymore.

It can only be a matter of time until people [re-]discover the HP3000 and
its super thin clients (terminals and/or terminal emulators)! :-)
