I humbly suggest that only recently with the K6 has AMD actually
had a chip that can compete with the Intel offerings. They are beginning
to signup some significant business based on this chip and recent press
indicates they are getting ready for another run at Intel.

And besides, presentation titles are created to generate comment/discussion
(and spur attendance) and some of that has evidently been achieved
in this case :-)
