Has anybody ever tried using the CIFS/9000 client on Unix (oops, HPUX)
to map -ahem- mount a Samba/iX share from the Unix side. Could this give
a workaround in case NFS/iX goes away?

If I had way too much time on my hand, I would probably look into Linux
sources to find out if their NFS server parts could be ported to MPE/iX.
However, I do not have way too much spare time ;-)

Lars.
