Hi all,

I just listened to a voicemail message to all employees at CSY that
stated there is no discount for HP employees to attend the Solution
Symposium and SIG3000. Exceptions are if an HP employee is presenting a
paper,
lab or tutorial then he/she can attend for free just that session. If an HP

employee is a SIG liaison then he/she can attend that particular SIG for
free.
Otherwise, all HP employees need to pay the full conference prices. I
double
checked to make sure I have my facts straight.

My *guess* is there will be far fewer CSY folks attending these events.
CSY is trying to spend money carefully and wisely, and may not send as
many engineers to these events as we have sent to IPROF in the past.
Maybe I've just been spoiled over the years by discounted or free admission
to
events like these, which I personally believe are quite valuable to CSY and
to
our customers.

Jeff ("I'll only be able to attend the 2 hours during my talk") Vance, CSY
