Is there a relatively simple way to email a "file" (DSN) from a mainframe?
I'm not sure whether or not any SMTP service exists on said mainframe now,
and the likelihood of seeing anything substantial change quickly seems
small. Unfortunately, the very people who should be answering this question
are far too busy to look at it right now, and are getting away with saying
so (I guess avoiding overtime has come back to haunt me), so this ball has
been lobbed into my court.

So, has anyone here already been there and done that?

Is it something bad I did in a previous incarnation?
