When I operated systems on 5.5 the only way to clear these session was by doing a
re-boot (norecovery).  In 6.0 you can do an abortio against the vt port.
HP RC had me trying several tricks within sysdiag but none of them worked on 5.5,
thus the re-boot.  (this was a few years back)

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, sorry.
