Programmer Studio from Whisper is a very good IDE for MPE development.

It has a listener that uses the standard HP networking services so nothing
additional is required. I also like the fact that their licensing is per
client and you can install the server software on as many servers as you
wish.

And finally, and to me the most important, the support has been excellent. I
generally receive replies to email in less than 24 hours, and have even had
them call me in response to an email to discuss the problem.

Download the demo from their website and check it out.. definitely worth a
look.

Subject: Network Services

Hello all,

I've got a recomendation about a product that runs on MSWindows and gives a
full gui development environment for the HP3000. The product is "Developer
Studio" of "Whisper Technologies".

1. Anyone uses this tool? is it realy productive?
2. It seems to me that the tool uses Network Services. Does NS is part of
the MPE/iX OS or should I purchase it seperately?

I'll be greatfull for your comments.

Thanks,
Noam Koren
