We have a Liebert DATAWAVE PDU with annual "hot" maintenance that runs about
$800 per visit.

Subject: [HP3000-L] OT: Power Line Conditioner

Hello,

We have a "Monitor, Series 700" power line conditioner from Controlled
Power Co. in Troy, MI that our HP3000 969/KS200 and peripherals are
attached to. Last summer we had a fan go out in it. The only reason we
noticed it was the noise that the fan was making before it failed. The
company that came out to repare the unit says that we should let them do
an annual preventive maintenance.

We are wondering if the PM is necessary. If so, what would be a fair
price.

Thanks for any advice,
Tim Herrin
