One correction on this page is the 979KS/x00 that has been moved down
to Tier 4 (Option 330). This quote from the European Product Manager:
'With the recent, February 7, 2000 Introduction of new HP e3000 Servers, HP
discontinued new sales of the older HP e3000 969KS/x20 Servers and repriced
downward the higher performing 979KS Servers. In order to insure a cost
effective solution for HP e3000 customers who will now be buying 979KS
Servers instead of 969KS/x20 Servers, HP has changed as of April 1, 2000 the
software tier associated with the 979KS Servers from Tier 6 (option 340) to
Tier 4 (option 330). This will allow HP e3000 tier based software products
to be sold at the same lower price on 979KS Servers that has previously been
associated with the discontinued 969KS/x20 Servers.'
