Hi

I am in the process of configuring a DLT40 onto a Hp3000 system. This has
appeared to have gone ok , the system is showing the ldev ok, the dlt
accepts the tapes but nothing appears on the console when the tape is
mounted. I need to restore back the system from this tape. When I do a
simple restore ;[log in to unmask]@.@;local;show I get a reply on the console to let
it know where the tape drive is , I do the reply but the device is always
showing as not ready.

Does anyone have any pointers or a checklist which might help us, thanks.
