When you transfer the file using FTP, you can

put fromfile.txt TOFILE;rec=-1023,,f,ascii;disc=50000

If you don't put the TOFILE, it will use the fromfile name putting it into
posix space.  Adding the rec= parameters allows you to build the file on the
HP how you want it.
