Why would you want basically a national school ranking system. Surely
you wouldn't move to that town, or actually that school's attendance
boundaries (if public) just because it had the "best" school. And what
would happen if it had the best elementary school, but not middle or
high schools?

Subject: OT: Where are the U.S. school ranking lists

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a WEB page that'll show U.S. school rankings
(academics, safety, etc.)? I've not had any luck finding a spot where
all
the schools are ranked (or at least most of them). I've found a few
State
WEB pages, but they leave much to be desired as far as info supplied.

TIA,

Ray Shahan
