This appears to have been fixed on 7.0.  There may be a patch for 6.5.

Warning:  If you run SYSMAP on a system with mirrored disc's there's a
strong possibility you will break the mirror on at least 1, possible more,
mirrored discs.  (personal experience)

Nope, it wasn't SYSINFO. It was something in the DIAG, or MPEXL group, on
MPE 6.0 pp2, looking on my 6.5 machine I don't see it. I can't be sure but I
think it was SYSMAP.DIAG.SYS
