From the Computer World Article ...

"So hardware partners that bought exhibitor space or
sponsored events at past Interex shows may no longer
have HP's co-marketing dollars to participate, the
source said. Even so, HP World '99 will have more
vendors exhibiting and participating than ever before
because of HP's broader focus, Saunders said. "

Does a broader focus mean no focus?? I hope MPE land and the MPE track help
keep the HP3000 momentum alive ... In the world of open systems what is the
role of a vendor specific users group ... and in the role of information
appliances will there be any need for a user's group?

Its late ... time to sign off for the night ..
