I personally would expect nothing less. It's part and parcel of the reason 
that I've been proud to be a third-party with CSY for 25 years now. But it's 
important to remember that the bulk of the comments were concerned about the 
notion that was put forward at San Francisco that the PJL problems may not be 
repaired so as not to step on the toes of existing third-party network 
printing solutions. 

As I said in the very first post, the problem is only technical, and it's 
probably not all that difficult to correct. The root of the problem is that 
other divisions of HP are changing the rules and MPE/iX is not keeping up. 
But it's hard to submit an SR to correct a fundamental misunderstanding in 
outlook. It's even harder to submit an SR to correct stubborness. Sometimes a 
point has to be made a little more sharply than you'd like.
