There was a program (it was called 'MABELL') that would use two message
files to communicate with two users. A UDC file was also supplied with the
commands 'phone' and 'answer' that would invoke 'mabell' with the proper
parameter values. The program was written by Gavin Scott and when used it
'splits' the screen in half, with the input from one person displayed on
the bottom half and the replies from the other on the top half (or vis
versa). While a copy exists in one of the systems that I use, I'm sure it
was also included in the Contributed Library tape.
