I found two interesting element in the same article.  First was of the
three major changes of direction HP took, the change to mini computers
was not listed.  They managed to gloss over the events of the 70's and
jump directly to the printer victory of the 80's.  For a "computer"
magazine they sure missed a fundamental turning point.  Maybe our
writing friend Mister Seybold should straighten them out ;->
 
The other was the chart showing the revenue change for various product
lines.  3000's had slipped 10% where the UNIX servers and workstations
were growing at double digit rates.
 
How depressing.  Cheer us up George!
