I just finished adding some C304x SCSI drives to our system and shuffling
a CD-ROM from one to the other. A couple of questions (that I should have
asked ahead of time, but what the heck...):

* Not knowing the device ID for a C304x (nor the C302x drives previously
installed) I used the generic HPC3010M1 which seems to work fine. Is
this a problem? These device IDs are rather like the old classic device
type/subtype codes, as long as you gave it a CS80 driver it didn't really
care which one you used. Are the SCSI drivers the same?

* Along the same lines, I think flexibility went a little too far. I forgot
to save configs on one system (I stole it's CD-ROM an replaced it with a
C304x add-on drive). It booted just fine and mounted the disc! Weird.
