My original post quoted Steve not you.  It appeared you were
countering my argument and story against using obscurity for security.
 I forgot you had changed the topic by the end of my post.  You
brought up another security point, but the subject of security is
extremely broad and hefty tomes have been written on the subject (i.e.
CISSP Certification -- Shon Harris).  I was just trying to get back to
the particular subject that I responded to, "security through
obscurity".  When I said "you" in the last sentence, I meant "you" as
a reader of the HP3000-L list, not you personally.  Sorry for the
confusion, I will try to be clearer next time.

Me bad!  My spell checker doesn't check for bad grammar or homophones.
 Maybe it was some sort of Freudian slip that I wasn't conscience of.
