Yes, they had a day or two where they closed and dug out the ski lifts.  In
fact, they had to dig big ditches in the snow uphill from the lift posts to
keep the snow creep from pushing the lifts down.  You wouldn't believe the
number of trees that were up-rooted from the snow creep.
